2.4.16 APIC Mode

This setting allows you to enable the APIC mode, the choice is “Dis-

abled” or “Enabled.”

2.4.17 MPS Version Control For OS

This reports if an FDD is available for Windows 95. The selections are

"1.1" or "1.4."

2.5 Advanced Chipset Features:

2.5.1 System BIOS Cacheable

BIOS ROM at F0000h-FFFFFh, resulting in better system performance.

However, if any program writes to this memory area, a system error may

result. The available choices are Enabled, Disabled.

Note: To disable security, select “PASSWORD SET-

TING” in the main menu. At this point, you will

be asked to enter a password. Simply press

<Enter> to disable security. When security is

disabled, the system will boot, and you can

enter Setup freely.
