Chapter 4 Operation

4.3 Replacing the Cooling fan

There is a system cooling fan near the rear of the chassis. To replace the cooling fan,

please follow the procedures as below.

1. Remove the top cover

2. Unplug the fan power connector.

3. Loosen the two screws on the rear plate and take out the fan module. (see Fig-

ure 4.4)

4. Remove the two screws on the fan guard.

5. Fasten the fan guard onto a new fan.

6. Return the fan module with the wire downward to the chassis and fasten it with

two screws.

7. Plug in the fan power connector.

8. Replace the top cover and fasten it.
