2.4 Installing Disk Drives

The disk drive bay is located on the lower deck of the chassis. Users need

to detach the upper cage first before they install an HDD or FDD. Please

refer to the following procedure.

2.4.1 Removing the Upper Cage from the Chassis

1. Unplug the 20-pin ATX power connector on the backplane.

2. Detach the four screws located on the front and rear of the upper

cage chassis (refer to Figure 2.4).

3. Take the upper cage out of the chassis.
